As the Los Angeles Chapter of the China General Chamber of Commerce – U.S.A., China Enterprise Council (CEC) is a non-profit organization serving Chinese companies that are investing and doing business in the region.
Founded in 1993 in Los Angeles, California, CEC counts among its members more than 100 companies, including established businesses in the process of going global as well as fast-growing companies hoping to extend their reach. The companies come from a variety of industries and sectors — such as banking, telecom, transportation, real estate, automotive, aerospace, industrial and manufacturing — and are headquartered in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao.
Through its efforts, CEC brings together business and government leaders to expand existing relationships, provides networking opportunities to develop new relationships, promotes knowledge and information sharing among its members, and engages with and gives back to the community through various endeavors.
CEC is committed to acting as a bridge and promoting trade and mutual understanding between Chinese and U.S businesses and helping foster a spirit of collaboration among its members as well as with the broader community.
