Dear Members & Friends,
With the joint efforts of all members, the China General Chamber of Commerce- Los Angeles played a positive role in serving Chinese companies in 2019, encouraging U.S.- China business cooperation, fulfilling social responsibilities and promoting local economic and social development and employment. Our themed programs focusing on corporate compliance, U.S.-China cooperation, experience-sharing, corporate social responsibility and cultural exchanges were greatly received.
The 2020 coronavirus outbreak that suddenly swept through the world has brought unprecedented challenges. With great support from CGCC, CGCC Foundation and the Chinese Consulate-General in Los Angeles, CGCC-Los Angeles donated 117,081 pieces of PPEs valued at nearly $60,000 USD to Wuhan and Los Angeles to fight against the pandemic. After the outbreak, CGCC-Los Angeles worked closely with CGCC and other chapters to assist in organizing and sharing webinars for members around hot topics.
Although the epidemic is still growing, and we are facing many challenges, we strongly believe that we will get through this together and grow stronger!
